Terms of Service
cal.tennis is a free scheduling tool, currently in beta, for coordinating tennis matches.
The service
You share a personal booking link. Guests pick an open time and propose a court, either one of yours or another from the shared court list; you approve or decline. Approved matches are added to your Google Calendar and your guest’s confirmation email.
Beta & availability
cal.tennis is free to use and provided as-is, without warranty. We may change or discontinue features as the product evolves.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for the accuracy of your court, availability, and calendar settings, including which calendars you choose to check, and for any contact information or cancellation reason you share with another player.
What you post
You’re responsible for what you put into cal.tennis: your profile photo, your court names and addresses, and anything you type into a match. Only upload a photo you actually have the right to use. Don’t upload anything illegal, anything that isn’t yours, or anything meant to harass someone.
If something crosses that line we can remove it or close the account, and we don’t have to warn you first. You can delete your own photo or close your account whenever you like.
Courts you add or edit, and ratings and votes you submit, become part of a shared court list that everyone can see and improve. By contributing you let us and other players use, correct, combine and keep that information, even after you leave. Don’t add places that aren’t tennis courts, rate courts you haven’t played, or mess with other people’s entries. We can remove contributions and close accounts that do.
If something goes wrong
cal.tennis is free, and it’s a scheduling tool, not a promise. Slots can be wrong, an email can go missing, a match can fail to reach your calendar. We’re not liable for what that costs you, including a court fee, a missed match, or a forfeited league game. If a court ever holds us responsible for something anyway, the most we owe you is what you’ve paid us, which is nothing.
Check your calendar. Don’t rely on us alone for anything that matters.
If someone comes after us because of you
If somebody sues us over something you did here, such as a photo you uploaded that wasn’t yours to upload or something you wrote about another person, that one’s on you. You agree to cover our costs in dealing with it.
Which law applies
